Since its establishment, Taiagro has been involved in several projects. These projects can be viewed from the following categories…

Training course for Nigerian church leaders held in Thailand (2011)

The vision of this project is drawn from Proverbs 12 verse 11 which strongly encourages hardwork. It seeks to sensitize church leaders on the need for churches to teach / mobilize their members for Agriculture to the point of some level of “self-sufficiency”.

Imo Governor visits Songhai Farm Project (2014)

Apart from various farms we own, this is a “special” cucumber farm project developed by Taiagro for Imo State Ministry of Agriculture under private public partnership. The government brought in infrastructure while the company brought the investment.

SASAN projects at communities

This project is carried out by Save A Soul Agricultural Network (SASAN). It involves in reaching out to rural communities with the gospel and training the villagers in farming. For now, the trainings have been on vegetable farming in eastern Nigeria. Between 2011 and 2014, the following states were covered: Imo, Anambra, Enugu, Rivers States.
Some of our trainees have gone into more communities on their own including: Abia, Cross River, Akwa Ibom and Oyo states. This project is so successful that more farmers have joined by merely reading our online reports.
The most prominent vegetable we’ve taught is Cucumber. Read more on Cucumber Farming here
